BPA Trail Run and Samsung Video App Mode Testing

The BPA (Bonneville Power Administration) trail is a great place to take a quick run, walk, and biking around Federal Way and enjoy some of the wildlife in the area.

The dual camera mode is shot in 1080 and scaled to 4k, all other shots are in 4K; shot on my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

The Samsung Note Edge has some great camera modes that you can use and I like the different dual camera modes you can use. It offers different sizes for the front facing camera which you can scale to your liking as well as moving the pip (picture in picture) to any location that you like.

The few chances that I get to stop by the trail to exercise, I take, as it’s not often you find a great trail to run in and it is very well maintained. I have seem some wonderful wildlife and very friendly people sharing in the enjoyment of this wonderful trail. I usually do a loop from Celebration Park to King County Aquatic Center. I’ve only gone all the way to the end, past KCAC once but it wasn’t as scenic for me.

On some days, you’re see longboarders practicing on the trail as it does offer some small hills they can practice going down on.

Visiting the Seattle Public Library – in Time Lapse and video

I didn’t get to fully visit all of the library during the short time I had and it does no justice to this wonderful pubic library located in downtown Seattle but I wanted to try out my new app for time lapse for Android.

The video is shot using my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge for the Time Lapse and video. Time Lapse using Framelapse Pro for Android, video using Samsung’s Video mode.

Quick review of the Framelapse Pro for Time Lapse on an Android

A quick review of a time lapse app for Android called Framelapse Pro.

This was shot entirely on my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge and edited with the video editor app that came along with the phone.

My thoughts on the Framelapse Pro so far? I love it.

Is it better than other time lapse apps? Maybe, maybe not. I’m sure there are other time lapse apps with features that this doesn’t but I found this app to actually work as promised and I love the options I get when you pay for the pro features. Watch the video to see what I mean.

What do I wish this app offered? The ability to shoot the time lapse at a higher setting then the 1080 which should be doable with the recent smart phones as they do offer higher resolution and faster processors. It should be able to offer 4k at the least, even if the time interval setting is reduced to a lower setting…

Thanks for watching.
